Statham Academy sent two teams, one representing the Philippines and the other representing Thailand, to Anning, China this weekend to participate in the 2019 B-One League Invitational Tournament. Highlighting the Philippines team were basketball veterans such as ABL legend Justin Howard, Decorey Jones, and Kevin Van Hook, coached by Dean Hadley. Two of the biggest standouts were rookies Joe Prince and Steven Bush who turned heads with big plays on both ends of the floor.
The team representing Thailand were spearheaded by another southeast asian journeyman Patrick Cabahug (ex PBA, current MPBL) and Jose Nouchanthavong.
